Mycelium Materials Workshops at Careys Secret Garden in Wareham, Dorset (23rd - 25th October 2026)
Learn how to grow materials instead of manufacturing them in this hands-on introduction to mycelium — the fast-growing fungal network used to create natural, compostable objects.
In this beginner-friendly session, you’ll cast your own living mycelium sculpture and take it home to finish. It’s relaxed, practical, and guided throughout.
As well as a workshop, we will be there with a stall with some of our recent creations in the Workshop Glade, as well as doing a talk on designing with fungi on Friday 23rd @ 11am - 12pm in the Curiosity Cabinet Workroom
