To be a highlight and celebration of the close bond fungi and the forest have to each other.
On their own, they can stand by themselves - but paired together, you can unlock the beauty of both sides and create an opportunity for a sustainable balance. Together with the glass top and the internal light, designed to create an object that was a distraction of curiosity, pulling your eyes to study the textures and shadows, bringing mycelium into the light.
By utilising the amazing ability of fungi to digest all sorts of woody masses, we are able to work away and feed every last shaving to grow the next table as well as create a product that itself can be fully returned to the soil after its long and loved life.
